Autumn Leaves

Autumn Leaves
By: Avery Brown
Oh the beauty they have,
The way they move put me in a trance,
Like they are one with the wind,
Their name is Sarah.

She’s leaving soon,
Going to another state to live,
Oh how I want her to stay,
She’s leaving sooner each day,
Like one day she will be gone without a trace.

She tells me she’ll leave tomorrow,
I stay and watch her dance,
Hoping to burn the image in my mind,
Hoping I will see her again.

Today she left,
She’s are finally gone,
No more dancing like they are one with the wind,
No more of my love Sarah,
I never got to tell her how I felt,
Maybe she felt the same,
Oh how fast the autumn leaves fall.
