Autumnal Allure
I can’t stay
away from the grasps of your
allure. Your gaze captivates
me. The way you let your
hands wander down my side
when you’re close to me
sends a buzz through me.
I’m dying to taste your lips; I need
to find out if they taste like
cardamom and maple. Maybe
like autumn;
and the swiftly changing leaves
falling from the trees. Can you see the way
you leave me fumbling for words? I’m ever
eloquent, but you leave me speechless.
I want to show you the
words on my tongue
with my mouth pressed against yours,
exchanging breaths and promises.
Will you let me find the words within
you and test my hypothesis?
