I harketh not of my mind,
As for the story of mankind,
We rip, we tear, we scream, we shout,
Yet the anger has not been let out.
Hide away in the dark,
'til I've shown my remark,
pray for peace,
See the shadow far away,
Crawling to stay at bay,
Weeping, going under siege,
All we need is one more breach.
Children dancing for freedom,
Until they're told that they are done.
The war is over so shout for joy,
Go tell the neighbor and that boy,
Joyful, happy, calm at last,
And all we had to do was ask.
