Baby in Trolley

A princess of Africa, a Custodian of Cultures,
A daughter of Africa, an advocate of Traditions!
It came as a wild shock, Seeing a baby in trolley,
I thought it was a doll at first. Until she shook her angelic hands.
Africa where mothers carry babies on their backs,
Africa where mothers are known for caring,
Africa where children are treated as kings.
And here comes a mother pushing a baby in trolley!
Lazy mother! carefree woman, I wildly thought,
As my imagination went truly Wild,
Could she be insane? I wildly thought!
Or she may need a helping hand!
Taking some steps to assist boldly.
Came another with toddlers in trolley
Behind me stood yet another, with twins in trolley
And all these babies tucked in with purses and groceries!
Wao this is America indeed and not Africa!
A land of multicultural orientation,
Suddenly. I came in full realization
African Ideologies stay back in Africa!
