Back, Black Man

Black, BLACK man always, BLACK me
Was it your decision I came this way
I sweated, I walled hard, salty and sweaty all day.
Dark, darker, pleasure or surprise, I'm always BLACK.
There is a path, "words to hear," I'm told to be strong
BLACK man BLACK always, my journey is over yonder.
I reached for heavenly stars it's possible I belong.
I see you, what's your name, speak so I can hear
and was it your decision, I came here this way
BLACK man every day, where is my promise
I don't know where you're coming from my brother
This is me every day, I cannot tell you why
And was it your decision, I came here this way
I'll reach for heavenly stars, It's possible I belong
Give me vision where I can hope, to see beyond the mountain
If I loose change want stop me, I'll soar, I'm free
BLACK man every day, no bank door anymore, I'm free
