Love amidst war

Gun shots were fired
Room for some emotions being hired,
His lady's face flashed in his eyes
With his luck of being with her rolling like a dice,
Eye ball reflected scenes of bloodshed
The smell of his lady still hasn't faded from the bed,
The promise of coming back made the enemies lick dust
As it was a relationship far beyond just lust,
Hopes of joy made him to smile
As he will be meeting his lady in a while,
The enemy retreated the war was won
Swiftly his eyes searched for a phone but couldn't fine one,
At last he caught hold of one and she picked up the call
And he said our date is still pending for the ball,
The strongest women shed tears of joy
Ending the call with the happiest bye.
