Back into the Box

When all is over,
All said, all done.
The battle finished,
Hard fought, hard won.

From mighty king,
To meager pawn.
Friend and foe,
Together drawn.

To lie asunder,
Till the end of days.
Forever equal,
In Death's stricken gaze.
