Back to Normal
They'll step all over you
Make you feel like everything is all your fault
Like you’re always in the wrong
You'll cry and cry
But soon realize
That they weren’t worth those tears
You tell them that you need a break
They say fine
You realize it was a mistake
You miss confineding in them
You miss the laughs and the endless stomach aches from giggles
But things will never be the same
We have drifted into strangers
To not even a hi in the halls
Not even smiles when we pass by
Will things ever go back to normal?
Make you feel like everything is all your fault
Like you’re always in the wrong
You'll cry and cry
But soon realize
That they weren’t worth those tears
You tell them that you need a break
They say fine
You realize it was a mistake
You miss confineding in them
You miss the laughs and the endless stomach aches from giggles
But things will never be the same
We have drifted into strangers
To not even a hi in the halls
Not even smiles when we pass by
Will things ever go back to normal?
