Backgammon Buddy

I lost my backgammon buddy to natural causes
You see, he was my dad
Years ago I taught him
How to play backgammon
Just to pass the time away
We played the regular way
Till one day, Dad asked me to find another way
Searching I did and found Acey Deucey
We never got tired playing that way
He always complains when I got doubles
But when he did, he said that he was using mine dice
Sometimes I went with the punches
Then the games stop and he passed on
