Barbwired Wrapped Candy

My heart feels heavy, I feel it pumping in my chest.
The pain keeps growing, can't seem to put my mind at rest.
Your words are hollow, barbwired wrapped candy at best.
Your promises are empty, this was the last time I will try!
I'm sorry but you felled the final test.
This is the end of our story.
I'm locking you out and boarding up the door.
This is the last time I'll let you hurt me! It time I let my hope go.
You will never be who I want to remember.
Only stained memories and hatred is left.
I will never think of you dearly or smile when I say your name.
Today I let you go, and after today, I'll never be the same...
