Barriers

By

It has no barriers, no borders,
It travels without stopping,
without paying a toll.
It discriminates against no one.
Wears no ID, is color blind.
It's able to invoke fear
among valiant warriors.

With no party affiliation,
it worships no god.
It has no destination,
controls billions of lives.
A warden, it shackles its victims
without promise of early release
for good behavior.

Proudly it lurks, happily it destroys.
Bow down to the Corona Virus,
The world's new invincible enemy.
