Home base is your starting place.
The place where your life begins in the world.
First base is your childhood.
Where you have no worries,
Just fun and games all the time,
Bust learning from your fouls as you go on.
Second base is your teenage stage.
Where you're supposed to go out,
Have fun with your friends,
And not make any strikes on the way.
Third base is your adult stage.
Where you're worried about everything,
And try doing what's best for everyone.
But in the end, you make a homerun with the one you love.
Then you're back at home base again,
Where it's time to say goodbye to the world.
