BATTLEFIELD
Uncontrollable thoughts
Manic and overpowering
I’m very much alive, but still a corpse
They manifest above me, towering
Is there an exit or a door
I try to overcome
If I let it, it will rock me to my core
One day it will all be done
It sprints and races
I stumble and fall
I’m too tired to keep up the paces
I shout out but no one hears my call
The day will arrive
I will become more powerful
The day I when I strive
It will be wonderful
Manic and overpowering
I’m very much alive, but still a corpse
They manifest above me, towering
Is there an exit or a door
I try to overcome
If I let it, it will rock me to my core
One day it will all be done
It sprints and races
I stumble and fall
I’m too tired to keep up the paces
I shout out but no one hears my call
The day will arrive
I will become more powerful
The day I when I strive
It will be wonderful
