A child, a smile, it's happy.
A bird's song,
A bell's sweet ding,
Be glad.
A tear, a sob, it's sad.
Gentle silence,
Fear and pain,
Be somber.
A tie, a mushroom, it's strange.
Ice cream without a lick,
Perfectly clean muck,
Be weird.
The sun, a leaf, it's perfect.
Some sparkling snow,
A place to go,
Be sublime.
A feeling's a feeling, no need shout it.
Whether it's happy or whether it's sad,
Whether it's good or whether it's bad,
A feeling's a feeling,
There's no doubt about it.
