Beach

Summer days
at the beach,
as I gaze,
I lose my speech.
The wind is howling
in my ears,
telling me
not to fear.
The sand is hot
beneath my feet,
and as I walk,
I scream from heat.
As I stumble on,
I look down and see
the seashells along
the breathtaking sea.
I feel continuous waves
all through the ocean,
rising and falling,
through every motion.
The beach takes me away
to where my mind flies.
Oh I love the beach,
and now you see why.
