Beans

My Daddy called beans the musical food
Because they put him in a harmonious mood,
He'd bite and chew
And munch a few;
Eating beans made him feel grand,
He'd strut like the leader of a marching band.

My uncle called beans the thunderous food
because they put him in a stormy mood,
His stomach would grumble,
His bowels would rumble;
I know this simile you'll under stand,
He'd sound like a tuba in a marching band.
