Beautiful Girl

I saw a girl in the mirror today
At first sight, I was in shock
Her eyes were blood red with a foggy glaze
Like nothing I’d ever seen before
She was so sad yet she was still so beautiful
Why does someone so beautiful have to look so dim and afraid?
With my cave of a dangling jaw and burning lasers for curious eyes
I gazed into hers and I felt the ripping out of her delicate soul
She had soft brown waves
and from what I could make out
large, sad, lonely, ocean-like almond eyes
She had a nice, genuine smile but I knew
Her mask could not deceive me
With razor made gashes at the hip
Swollen and Bloody
She cringed
and let out a slight yelp as her shorts grazed the mountains of blood covered flesh
Never have I ever seen someone so beautiful
