Silk beauty gently whispering
Through the layer of hands
Engulfing my weakness
Familiar tastes of sweet hunger
Crawl through my spine,
As I’ve taken over
Beating what used to be bountiful locks of
Beautiful hair,
To blood sweetly glistening
Through my eyes,
Before working its way
Through tattered pages
Of my sorry heart –
