Our society is known for valuing only outside beauty

Never will anyone say

We look beyond external appearances

The truth is

Our society was blind

Believing that

Our judgment was right

We knew that was a lie

Admiring looks and style

Was the way to go

Appreciating love, loyalty, and respect

Was an old-fashioned thing to do

Overcoming judgment

Was hard to achieve, but we tried

Redefining our beauty for the better

Is something that never happened

Changing ourselves

Was how we overcame deep emotions

Being ourselves

Everyone knew that

Was fake

Thinking that we couldn't change our old ways
