Beauty is an outer shell,
Not who you are or what you really want.
People of this mortal world,
Base almost everything on beauty.
Hidden behind the mask,
Insecurity and lack of self esteem.
Inner beauty is different.
When you like who you are,
True happiness radiates out.
Women and men nip, tuck, and inject their bodies,
Making themselves more pleasing to the eye.
Even though they were beautiful to begin with.
God makes us each beautiful,
In our own special ways.
He gave us eyes to see,
The beauty in the fellow person.
Skin and heart to feel the beauty as well.
