Beauty and the Beast

Beauty, so many crosspaths...they say this
trait is in the eyes of the beholder
who is the beholder?
do not look upon beauty
unless you see the beast
I would rather see the beast, so corrupt
unbalanced, mysteriously withholding
Why see what is seen, when what is not seen,
is worth seeing
Beast is beauty, but beauty never beast
the ugly truth of a creature, the monster
No! Beast is you, its me
my creativity, drive, passion, motive
my beast lives in the heart of the beholder
I am...the Beast!
