Beauty Behind The Shadow Of Darkness
A wind blows softly over the old cemetery
The echos of long gone play around gleefully
Amongst the shreds of silent Screams
Over the tears shed by the many; Roses and Strangers
Beautifully carved in the dim moonlight
The names of legends and commoners all alike
Might be, the long lost voices of his mighty Ancestors
Simply a witness of their existence
And says he, "Am i in!"
Shattered dreams assign them dutifully, perhaps responsible
The eerie silence whisper into his ear, "Smile of Death!"
Again, "O Death! the watchful, merciful friend of all"
Every soul has declined to serve you
Their prayers, simply an honour to your divine gift --- Peace
The eternal bliss to all
Their only companion, the chirps of a lost bird
