Beauty

I don't understand,
You hate yourself
But ask for a man,
You cover yourself in make-up,
So much I cannot even notice who you are
Then you prance around like a woman who is stuck up,
I just wish you could see,
All this coverage?
That is not the way to be,
You are beautiful inside and out,
You just don't realize it
And when you are rejected you sit by and pout,
But I'm telling you to take it all away,
Release your inner beauty
That's all I have to say,
You are beautiful despite their words,
They mean nothing
Look at yourself,
And you will find the most amazing person there is,
Staring right back at you,
Maybelline and Covergirl may cover up your flaws,
But at the end of the day
You still feel kind of lost,
The scars and marks will forever be there,
So cherish them and show the world
The words they say roll off like a strand of hair!
