Becky

In the center of the brightest rose,
You transform the world I know, and all things are made new,
I see the heavens in your smile, and the sunlight in your eyes,
Helping me to know I could live an eternity and never ask for more.

There are so many words I cannot speak,
As a million thoughts bloom inside,
And a thousand heartbeats speak your name,
Becky, whispered between two breaths one of the mind one of the soul.

In the silence of night, you are born of a dream,
Drifting to me on the landscape of shadows,
While wrapped in a quilt of slumber,
Where I embrace the echo of my inner self.

You are a woman of essence; of delicate perfection,
The pinnacle of my thoughts,
A momentary lapse of my conscience,
Some point that takes me over the horizon.
