Become United

Proudly I've watched my children grow
Praying that someday their's will know

Given the chance I'd do this over again
The best memories came as a mother and friend

If I did even half the job that my parents did
I'd of been more than an ungrateful kid

For all that is was or will be in my lifetime
I can't waste it for that would surely be sublime

Face opposition, be proud, stand up for yourself and others
The world will somehow know, they too are someones brothers

This Poems Story

I thank every bit of my upbringing to 'GOD' first and always. Then of course my wonderful parents. By no means were we well off, nor even near it. Poverty was rich to us mostly. Being grateful for life, staying humble was always instilled. Integrity, family values, honesty, morals, and Love. So Thank you mom and of course daddy.
