Bees by the River

There are bees
by the river
over the bridge
where the blind walk
unmindful
that the bees
are growing older
the bees
bind your eyes
stop up clocks
block the future
the bee road
leads through
the woven forests
where I was born
in the bee-humming
now that I am old
the bees
have turned to water
their buzzing
become a murmuring
of streams
