Before You

Before you, I knew no boundaries
Before you, my life was a quandary
With two types of hurt
I went through my days
One that hurts
And one that slays

Before you, my nights were so long and so dark
Before you, no light, no glow and no spark
But now I am free
To be your sweetheart
So pure and devoted like the swell of the sea
You’ve given my life meaning deep down in my heart

Before you, I searched; I was on a long quest
Before you, my heart was left to the rest
So now you will see
It’s you that makes me whole
You’re the only one for me
Two Mates of one Soul

Before you, I thought that I knew what love was
Before you, I did things that I never should of
My life is so happy now
It’s all cause of you
So I’ve written down my vows
Cause I’m ready to walk down the aisle to you
