Behind the Scenes
There are times when I feel that no one is with me.
The picture may seem HD but behind the scenes is blurry.
The camera continues to roll,
There are no take fives, the cast continues to breathe.
I am what everyone has; a shadow.
I yearn to be in the spotlight though
Every director turns me down.
All I’ll ever be is a cameo.
I was wrong and they were right.
Forever being out shined by their light
Is how my life will remain.
Stay behind the camera, out of sight.
When the movie hits the silver screen
Nothing will be able to come between
The black and white lies
That lay behind the scenes.
