Behold The Man

Behold The Man

Behold the Man, hands nailed to a tree as it lay upon the ground becoming his cross

Stretched out arms to the uttermost lifted high above for all to see

Soldiers gazing as He hung striped naked fastened by his wounds Life Eternal would soon be

Behold the Man no cry of pain heard but gentle words Father Forgive them

Infinite meekness and goodness no cup of bitterness to drink he was laid upon the eternal Bed of sorrows

His blood distilled as he hung upon his wounds

Soldiers gambled his earthly garments
Enemy of the cross they laughed and mocked even spit upon the one who bore our griefs

Wounds were given by the house of Friends the encounter of courage

Behold the man bearing the marks of Divine love

Now eternal Jewels of Royalty hidden in wisdom and council of Heaven

Kingship of a Messiah Scared hands that became his identity the ornaments of his Majesty

He is The Warrior Champion of hearts ready to divide the spoil of his coming reign within his Kingdom

Forever upon the hearts of men

Behold The Man
