Being Grey in a White Town

Self esteem challenged by the social enterprise
Trying to stay the course don't fall maintain be justified
Mention inner thoughts travels through my brain
Walls up lines cast as though my experience don't mean anything

Inner space outer space all that be is open
To mine eyes emotion echoes of my past
Be still save my memory begin to see the outline

Being grey in a white town distant self be gone
Another wave pushes me further ever further from my truth

My tones and patterns innocent tossed aside
New walls to maintain oops I've missed a spot
Begin to crumble waste away being grey in a white town

Go to sleep now and put your thoughts away
Shadows moving, season two, being gray in a white town
