Some beliefs are like springs of water,
Pure and crystal clear
Which nourish the souls.
Some others are like stagnant water,
Nauseous with fowl odour
Which poison human souls.

Noble, honest beliefs
Are a shower of blessings.
They uplift humans
Up to the possible apex.

Malicious, biased beliefs
Are a form of vicious virus.
Towards the goal of fairness,
Main barrier hindering advance.

Beliefs may be novel or old,
It doesn’t make any difference.
Don’t grasp, though they are accepted,
Test them in the light of reasons.

Do release your wisdom first
From iron chain of tradition,
On the balance of unbiased thought,
Form your free conviction.
