believe she bestows

She no longer believed in fairies.
Too many mornings she woke up with hope but then came the tears.
She no longer believed in fairies.
Too many mornings she woke up with hope but then came the problems.
She no longer believed in fairies.
Took the midnight train going anywhere
She no longer believed in her comfort zone
Took the first ticket she could grab, she had to get the fuck out of there
She no longer believed in her home
Took the first thought & threw it far away
She no longer believed in her very own intuition
Took the first thought & said please don’t ask me to stay
She no longer believed in her changing the conditions
To sing songs of freedom, she needed redemption
She no longer believed in redemption songs
Then it was all she had, these songs of freedom
Flower pedals bloomed & happiness came to sing along
She no longer believed in leaving
She never even bought the ticket
Thank God for the line in which she was waiting
It was time she needed for it to finally click
Send her on her way with beliefs
On her way, she reaches out a hand or two
Come with me & believe she bestows
She wants others fighting the tears to never hear another boo-hoo
She knows that is unrealistic, but for the moment she wants to believe it
So come with me & believe she bestows
