Beneath Me

By Deneva    Deneva

Who can see...What lies beneath?
Beneath the eyes. That camouflage in disguise.
Who can see...What lies beneath?
Beneath the walls. For they've grown big and tall.
Who can see...What lies beneath?
Beneath my heart. For not many can make to that part.
Who can see...What lies beneath?
Beneath to my very existence
My soul.
Does anybody know; what it will take to make me whole?
Does anybody care...What lies beneath?
What would it feel like to be whole
For someone to touch you and reach your soul.
To have one person; that loves you, with all their heart.
Just to be willing; to make that effort, or even a start.
To take the time; brake down those walls.
For them; it wouldn't matter, how big or tall.
For only one look...from them,
They would know,
What lies beneath my eyes.
No matter what camouflage; I might throw up in disguise.
Who will see?
My soulmate.
That who will see
What lies beneath
Beneath me.
