Bent Spear
A relic of the Neanderthal race,
A standby of the Spartan troops,
A go-to for the Viking league,
The mighty spear occupies the military throne
And hoists its legacy
To its lofty platform
For the memorial of a valiant coat-of-arms
Of a nation,
An institution,
A union or a trade.
A gilded spear stands by social values
And, after all this time,
A bent spear metaphorically stands by personal ones.
A standby of the Spartan troops,
A go-to for the Viking league,
The mighty spear occupies the military throne
And hoists its legacy
To its lofty platform
For the memorial of a valiant coat-of-arms
Of a nation,
An institution,
A union or a trade.
A gilded spear stands by social values
And, after all this time,
A bent spear metaphorically stands by personal ones.
