Peering beyond the threshold,
the vale of our universe,
Methods and mysteries folded over our eyes
We think we see through them
as if the machinations and motivations of time and space
are as transparent as answers hiding in a room filled with mirrors

When the clarity we impose upon the world
is a perfect illusion
an illusion manufactured by our own erroneous energies
our problem children
breaking laws, breaking rules and breaking boards
making fools of us all
we are stranded either in shards and shambles
or sunbeams and smiles
