Beyond The Grave

Weeping angels cast the shadows
That dance over her heart
A dead mother weeps
Her daughter's scars are so deep
The last time they met
Was when she paid the devil's debt
What are your problems?
She begged for the answers
For she could not see
That it was always me
Watching the blood well
She has no soul left to sell
The devil's laughter lurks
Covering her body in dirt
Mother why did you leave?
The poor child could not see
The life she holds now is from me
