Beyond the River Light

The darkness of the hour
Another shadow amongst stillness
Waves craving in, emotions taking over
Need the breath to take a step
Sounds of butterflies feeling the warmth around
Picking up the pieces to a puzzle broken
Terror filled the storm brewing but
a calmness remained
Crushing dreams taken all into reality
A place for healing, nowhere to sour
Tons of weight on a heavy bed of roses
Only the thought of the future would wonder
Escaping to relaxing blue sounds
Need the breath to take a step
Hurt and pain amongst the clouds
ready to blame
Eyes heavy with tears , fear of the unknown
A honest aching heart desires no one knew
could exist
Strong like the trees standing in the wind
With the thunder behind , A lightning streak
Four years later a lion unleashed
Finally a breath to breathe
