Bisexual and Afraid to Come Out

Many people lose friends over lifestyle choices,
but am I to lose my parents
over a matter in which a choice was not given?

Slander and hate-speech easily drip from my back,
but when your loved-ones are the perpetrators
how can you brush off something like that?

Pills and group therapy will never cure what "ails" me,
Summer camp and comradery over misogyny
is another lost cause for this so called sinner.

This is because what I have isn't a problem at all.
It's not the devil taking root in my life,
but God who created me this way Mom.

If anyone is to blame,
you did raise me after all.
