Bits of the sky and universe
The sun rises, shimmering crimson and gold;
Wings spread, majestic and rising, fanning the wind.
Blooming hues of heat igniting the cold,
Darkness singeing and sizzling in her gold glint.
Stars are streams and rivers
Flowing through the night.
Shining, shimmering silver,
Gifting the dark some light.
What if we ripped open the sky,
Unseaming the galactic tide;
Are there other worlds that lie
In the infinite space outside?
