Bitter cold wind
Bitter cold wind.
The bitter cold wind invisibly passes through me like a spirit.
Passes through walls.
Knocking me off my feet,
Making me catch my breath.
Chilling me to the bone, stealing my happiness,
Making me sad, longing for warmth, peace, safety.
Bitter cold wind makes me remember things ,
I’d like to forget,
Things I want to remember,
Things I want to feel again.
Bitter cold wind you come and steal, wanting to get me.
I will fight you for my happiness, and warmth, my safe place.
