Black and white

Black and white
That could be the world
But not quite
Grey unfurls
And fills the world with what we consider makes people right.
Problems and mistakes make the white tight
Lit up lamps make the black blind
That’s what makes the grey a pleasure to find
The goodness that clears the evil outside
But fuses into a pearl grey rind
Layers over layers of personality that shies
As those are the most satisfying gifts to be unwrapped
Because if you could see through the characters of whoever lies
Then the ‘now’ is no longer a present and the future would remain untapped.
