Black and White, Blue Stripe

The motto is to protect and serve
Justice and peace need to be preserved
But are they the ones who need the protecting
Men and women doing their jobs
But they are getting criticized by the mobs
Bam, Bam, Bam, the gun is now turned on them
Black and white, blue stripe
These are the people who fight for rights
Arrests turned deadly
Nobody is friendly
It's your fault if you resist
But the violent perpetrators persist
Sirens calling in the name of what's right
Why do people put up a fight
Black and white, blue stripe
These are the people who fight for rights
Casted as villains
Told a million times to change by millions
But only separated by a badge
Hardworking people like you and me
They should be allowed to do their job freely
They protect the privilege America gave
Land of the free, home of the brave
Black and white, blue stripe
These are the people who fight for rights
