Black Boy Life (b.b.l)

There's anger in my words
they keep me down when I try to fly like a bird
liberty and justice for all that's absurd
liberty is not carried out when we fear outside due to the cops
*blow*blow* I think another homie got shot.
But that's just another day in a black boy life
They speak of justice a lot
but how's that true when it comes to my dreams
I can't choose if I win or lose
in the life of a black man walking on one side of the street
and seeing how everybody ran
But that's just another day in a black boy life
I hope the black race reach the sky
especially my momma
I hope she arise
and did M.L.K really have to die
they stay thinking they lowkey
with the lies my eyes are open
I see you not sly but until your revealed
I'll testify and pray that we can hear more about black boy lives.
