Black Hole

In the black abyss of space
I’m drawn towards the darkest place
Gravity pulls and warps
Propels…contracts…… elliptic orbs

A spot of darkness
Draws me near
Compounding on
My every fear

I fall upon myself
And tumble
Inwards
I can’t help but stumble

I watch my atoms
Fall away
Knowing
It’s no use to pray

Instead
My eyes leak salty tears
That travel… instant…
10 light years

Until at last
I’m stretched to bits
Escape…
The force does not permit…

Mass increases
As my size
Shrinks
Before my very eyes

Until my weighted gravity
Compresses and compacts on me

And as my body compresses apart….
My limbs, my eyes, my brain, my heart….
I know the black hole’s darkest art…
Is…. from me……something else shall start
