Black Innocence

I'm daddy's little girl,
With ribbons in her hair.
Giggles, laughs, and lullabies,
As you handle me with care.
I'm daddy's little girl,
With an innocent heart.
You send me off to school,
Thinking I'd have a good start.
I'm daddy's little girl,
Why are they being so mean?
I didn't do anything to them,
Is there something wrong with me?
I'm not sure who I am,
And I'm not sure how I feel.
I don't know how to handle this,
Is what they're saying real?
I was daddy's little girl,
And I completely lost myself.
A blanket of darkness covers me,
Thickening itself.
I'm a worthless little girl,
And I used to smile at you.
You were my hero, dad,
.weren't you?
