Blackened soul

Deep inside a lonely girl,
a darkened box does lie.
Often hidden from the world,
yet often makes her cry.
So much of her childhood pain
remains embedded in her soul.
Her soul,
now a darkened box,
has completely grown to full.
Each day she imagines happy thoughts
She creates stories of her past.
Yet with each story follows memories,
with a sadness to forever last.
Many have tried to heal this girl.
To help ease her inner pain.
A pain which leaves her speechless,
in time she’ll become insane.
His lonely girl will never reach
the point of feeling blessed.
She’s destined to die lonely,
she’s much different than the rest.
