I'm to blame for all the shame.
I'm to fear for all those years.
I am the one who should suffer,
I am the one who should take the pain.
Believe me, I'm trying.
Things won't be the same.

They are all too oblivious,
Can't you see my tears?
Can't you hear my pleading cries?
And what do I need to say?
What do you want me to explain?
I know for goodness sake,
I am the one to blame.
For all the shame, and
Fear that I've brought
in all those years.
I am to blame.
Stop making it such a big deal.
