Blank White Sheet

By Lana

A blank white sheet
So much potential in one piece on paper
People ignore the hold paper has on the human soul
This sheet could cause heartbreak
This could be the most neutral piece of paper, and it still would have a purpose
Time passes as this sheet disintegrates into dust
Leaving the residue and ash of what used to be
Just a blank piece of paper
The coffin pries open
The price of life leaving this paper feel unworthy
"What if I had just done more"
"Been more?"
"Seen more?"
"What would...What could I have been?"
Loneliness and hopelessness draw themselves in with white marker
This sheet of paper will never truly realize, if it was anything else, anyone else, it wouldn't have been showed it's true importance.
