If I told you my story would you listen?
If I emptied my soul would you stay?
If I gave you everything within me,
yet to face another cloudy day.
My pulse I feel it racing,
apprehensive by this shade of gray,
my heart I feel it aching,
as I watch you slowly walk away.
As I tred the waterfalls draining from my eyes,
longing to understand the hapless reason why?
While I did what I could, perhaps, what you should,
it’s needless to say, you meant me no good.
You drew me in, no exit out,
terminal entrapment without a doubt.
