Blessed But Hungry
Wants in the midst of wonder
Wallowing in the place of crown
Being watered but lack water
An unprofitable expense.
In the midst of plenty
Looking up at down
And looking down at up
Confusion aboard the ship.
Ants in the kitchen
Lions awaiting their meal
A meal of life goats
Too ridiculous to behold.
Hey! Jesus paid the price
An investment for blessings
Over two thousand years old
The slumber must end.
Wallowing in the place of crown
Being watered but lack water
An unprofitable expense.
In the midst of plenty
Looking up at down
And looking down at up
Confusion aboard the ship.
Ants in the kitchen
Lions awaiting their meal
A meal of life goats
Too ridiculous to behold.
Hey! Jesus paid the price
An investment for blessings
Over two thousand years old
The slumber must end.
